BRYDER was founded on a desire to create clothing that felt different, without compromising on wearability. Taking inspiration from familiar silhouettes and everyday essentials, we explore unconventional construction, original textiles and distinctive details to create pieces that offer something new.
Our philosophy is simple: wearable statements. Clothing that feels familiar yet distinctive, designed to become part of your everyday wardrobe.
The pieces you reach for time and time again, just not the versions everyone else owns.
A NOTE FROM THE FOUNDER
I've never been a fan of runway pieces that look incredible but can't realistically be worn. I want to create things that are interesting, but that people actually want to have in their wardrobe.
I started out in 3D design, before I became interested in creating things I could wear. That curiosity led me to study fashion. Two months after graduating, in the middle of the pandemic, I launched BRYDER.
There was no playbook, so I learned by making. Trial and error. Back then, I was making every single order by hand in my parent's shed, documenting everything as I went. It was through this hands-on process that I developed our signature woven textile, which eventually led to the Woven Utility Vest, a piece that introduced many of you to the brand for the first time.
The vest showed me what I want this brand to stand for: function and visual impact in the same piece. It is the true cornerstone of the brand.
